These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Efficient K53 Academy ("we", "us"). By creating an account or making a payment you agree to them. They are written to comply with the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 ("CPA").

1. What you are buying

You are buying 60 days of access to our K53 study platform for the licence code you choose (Code 8, 10 or 14). This includes:

The full question bank;
The mock tests;
The K53 manual.

2. How access is delivered

Access is delivered electronically. Once your payment is confirmed by Ozow, your access is activated and a confirmation email is sent — normally within 60 seconds. No physical product is shipped.

3. Cooling-off period (CPA Section 49)

This is a digital product. Under Section 49 of the Consumer Protection Act, digital goods are exempt from the cooling-off period once access has been activated. By starting to use the platform you agree that your access has begun, so the cooling-off right no longer applies. Our Refund Policy still gives you clear refund rights — please read it.

4. Uptime commitment

We aim for 99.5% platform uptime. If unplanned downtime takes us below this level, we will extend your access proportionally by the affected time, at no extra cost to you.

5. Your account

You must be at least 16 years old, or have a parent/guardian's permission.
One account per person. Sharing logins is not allowed and may be detected.
You are responsible for everything done under your account.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to copy, download, screenshot, resell or share our study content, and not to try to get around our security or content-protection controls. Breaking this may lead to suspension without a refund.

7. Payments

Payments are processed by Ozow, a registered South African payment gateway. Prices are shown in South African Rand (ZAR).

8. No guarantee of a pass

We give you accurate, up-to-date study material, but passing your official test depends on your own effort and the testing officer. The only exception is our published Pass Guarantee, which has its own terms in the Refund Policy.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and South African courts have jurisdiction.
